Villa Vanners breeding program is going to focus mainly on breeding Gypsy Vanners for temperament,color,and pedigree. Although we are not going to sacrifice conformation we feel temperament is important whether you are looking for a driving, riding, or show prospect. It is almost as if a gypsy vanner has a driving gene as they take to driving as though they were born to it. It is important that all our customers trust the horses they buy from us.
Every color of gypsy vanner will be represented in our herd. From buckskin, blagdon, black, tobiano, palomino, silver dapple, and possibly perlino. We have carefully selected mares with unique color genetics and have paired them with incredible stallions of color. The stallions represented in our breeding program include Romeo, Lenny, Bear, and Taskin.
There will be 2 foals available this spring 5 next year 2 in utero. Visit us again for our babies due this summer, and three stallions standing for stud April 2009.
Killian our drum horse will be bred to our thoroughbred mares for Gypsy Sport horses. We may breed Irish draught drum horse crosses and drum horses in the future
